O presente estudo pretende analisar e dar a conhecer oficiais e servidores da corte do rei D. Pedro, alguns do tempo em que ele ainda era infante, outros que o serviram enquanto rei. Por base utilizaremos normas decretadas através de cartas régias, as Ordenações Afonsinas do rei D. Afonso V para as definições dos ofícios, a Crónica de D. Pedro e a Chancelaria de D. Pedro I, ajudadas pela mais recente biografia do rei, para as biografias dos ocupantes desses ofícios.
This essay intends to analyse and reveal the existing tasks and holders inside king Pedro I’s court, both as the heir to the throne and as king. We will base our analysis on royal charters elaborated by king Pedro I, the law code Ordenações Afonsinas by king Afonso V for the definition of the existing offices, the Crónica de D. Pedro and the Chancelaria de D. Pedro I, together with the most recent biography of Pedro I, for the biographies of the holders of those positions.
