Ensinar o Antigo Egito a jovens adolescentes : um desafio didático

O presente relatório explicita, como parte principal, uma proposta didática para o terceiro
ciclo com o tema “Das sociedades recolectoras às primeiras civilizações”, com especial
enfoque no subtema “Contributos das primeiras civilizações”, analisando o caso do
Antigo Egito. Estão também presentes as aulas lecionadas ao 11º ano IB. Nas aulas
lecionadas no Colégio Planalto, respeitantes ao subtema previamente mencionado,
analisámos o caso do Antigo Egipto em relação às características e desenvolvimento da
sua economia, organização social e política, arte, religião e cultura. Estas aulas analisaram
também os movimentos artísticos Realismo e Impressionismo, contextualizando-os no
século XIX. A aulas lecionadas procuraram conjugar o ensino-aprendizagem de história
a adolescentes com teorias Humanistas de aprendizagem, em especial as de Víctor García
Hoz, que são a base do projeto educativo do Colégio Planalto e que visam a formação
integral dos alunos.
The following report presents, as the main theme, a didactical proposal for the theme “From the gathering society to the first civilizations”, with a special focus on the subtheme “Contributions from the first civilizations”, analyzing the Ancient Egypt case. The lectures taught to the 11th Grade IB are also present. In the classes lectured at Colégio Planalto, regarding the subtheme previously mentioned, we analyzed the case of the Ancient Egypt regarding its characteristics and the development of its economy, social organization and politics, art, religion, and culture. These classes also analyzed the artistic movements Realism and Impressionism, contextualizing them in the 19th century. The classes searched to conjugate the teaching and learning of History to teenagers with the Humanists theories of learning, especially those of Víctor García Hoz, which are the base for the educational project of Colégio Planalto and that aim for the integral formation of their students.
