Nesta investigação apresenta-se a avaliação da infl uência das alterações do uso e
ocupação do solo na dinâmica hidrológica da bacia hidrográfi ca do Rio Zêzere,
localizada na região centro de Portugal. A metodologia adotada para a obtenção
dos índices topográfi co de encharcamento, potencia de escoamento e produção de
sedimentos e a sua modifi cação em função da integração do uso e ocupação do solo
é explicada. Apresentam-se os resultados obtidos destes índices, evidenciando-se
as alterações espaciais em função das alterações de uso e ocupação do solo. Na
análise integrou-se dados complementares (condutividade elétrica da água numa
barragem) para calcular a variação da produção de sedimentos. Os resultados
apresentados demonstram haver infl uência do uso e ocupação do solo na dinâmica
fl uvial da bacia hidrográfi ca do Rio Zêzere, nomeadamente na produção de
sedimentos.
This research presents the evaluation of the infl uence of the land use and land cover changes on hydrological dynamics of the Zêzere Watershed, located in the Centre of Portugal. The methodology adopted to obtain the wetness index, stream power index and sediment transport index, and your modifi cation by the integration of the land use land cover data is explained. The results of these modifi ed indexes, highlighting the spatial changes derived of land use and land cover changes. In analyzing of index results also was analyzed complementary data (electrical conductivity of water of a dam) to validate the variation of sediment production. The results demonstrate the infl uence of the land use and land cover changes on fl uvial dynamics of the Zêzere watershed, in particularly, changes in sediments production.
