This article relates the time, spaces and technologies in art forms with the art creations of Vik Muniz. The trajectory of the artist will be presented briefly highlighting themes and different techniques that enables the viewer to question reality reproduction and the importance of contemporary art as a social and cultural transformation agent. “Album and Postcards from Nowhere” will be analysed as a work of decomposition and composition to evoke the spectator’s memory
