| dc.description.abstract | A presente monografia visa abordar a segurança transfusional. Esta deve ser encarada de uma forma holística de modo a que se percecione como uma cadeia com início, meio e fim, que se inicia na promoção e recrutamento de dadores, passa pela colheita, testes de despiste, testes pré-transfusionais, decisão médica de transfundir, e termina na transfusão propriamente dita. O risco e segurança associados deverão ser interpretados não como antagónicos, mas antes como um binómio de uma mesma equação, para que a cadeia transfusional se cumpra com sucesso. É neste contexto que a Imuno-hematologia tem um papel fundamental, pois possibilita a informação que esclarece quanto ao risco associado e compatibilidade biológica, potenciando e criando maior segurança. Neste trabalho são ainda focados os temas da hemovigilância e reações transfusionais. Com a elaboração desta monografia evidencia-se a importância de áreas científicotecnológicas, como a Imuno-hematologia no contexto laboratorial, que constituem ferramentas essenciais e imprescindíveis à compreensão e base para decisão que suporta a cadeia e segurança transfusional. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This monograph aims to address the transfusion safety. This should be viewed in a holistic way so that it can be perceived as a string with beginning, middle and end, which starts in the promotion and recruitment of donors, passes through harvest, screening tests, pre-transfusion testing, medical decision of transfusing, and ends in the transfusion itself. The risk and associated security should not be interpreted as antagonistic but as a binomial of the same equation for the transfusion chain closes successfully. It is in this context that the immunohematology plays a key role because it provides information that clarifies how the associated risk and biological compatibility, enhancing and creating greater security. This work also focused themes of hem vigilance and transfusion reactions. With the development of this monograph highlights the importance of science as the immunohematology laboratory context as essential and indispensable to understanding and basis for decision support throughout the chain and transfusion safety tools. | pt_PT |
