A seguinte Prova Final de Mestrado parte do intuito de projetar um plano de reabilitação para a Quinta da Torre d’Aguilha, em São Domingos de Rana.
Perante o estado do edificado atualmente, a intervenção procura desenhar uma paisagem contemporânea, de forma a preservar o valor e a história que carrega. Ao remover o caracter privado da quinta, procurou-se responder às necessidades da comunidade, transformando este lugar num espaço para a comunidade.
O programa proposto apela a estratégias que promovem o envelhecimento ativo e a integração social, da comunidade, com três vertentes distintas, uma para as gerações mais novas, uma para as gerações mais velhas e outra de caracter socio cultural, regendo-se assim por uma lógica multigeracional.
O projeto foi desenvolvido a pensar na melhor forma de intervir no lugar sem o desvalorizar, com a elaboração de uma análise primária do território e da população que poderá usufruir do espaço. O bem estar dos mais velhos foi o objetivo principal, de modo a valorizar a longevidade a par das gerações mais novas.
The following Final Master’s Project is based on the intention of designing a rehabilitation plan for Quinta da Torre d’Aguilha, in São Domingos de Rana. Given the current state of the building, the intervention seeks to design a contemporary landscape, to preserve the value and history it carries. By removing the private character of the Villa, an attempt was made to respond to the needs of the community, transforming this place into a space for the people. The proposed program calls for strategies that promote active aging and the social integration of the community, with three distinct aspects, one for the younger generations, one for the older generations and another of a socio-cultural nature, following a multigenerational logic. The project was developed thinking about the best way to intervene in this place without depreciating it, with the elaboration of a primary analysis of the territory and the population that will be able to use the space. The well-being of the elderly was the main objective, to value longevity along with the younger generations.
