A violência conjugal é uma temática bastante actual e que tem vindo a adquirir cada vez mais interesse e importância na nossa sociedade, nomeadamente com o seu recente estatuto de crime público. Para a compreensão da sua etiologia, a vinculação apresenta um papel com extrema relevância, podendo ser explorada tanto pela perspectiva do agressor como da vítima, a qual tendem significativamente para o sexo feminino. No presente estudo, os objectivos consistem na avaliação dos estilos de vinculação das mulheres vítimas de violência conjugal, no contexto da relação romântica, e na análise da relação entre o estilo de vinculação e algumas variáveis sócio-demográficas das mulheres estudadas, nomeadamente idade, estado civil, número de filhos, duração da relação conjugal e período de vitimação. O estudo seria conduzido junto de uma amostra de mulheres que vivessem maritalmente com o seu parceiro (o agressor) e que teriam sofrido quer de violência física, psicológica ou sexual no último ano, e apresentado queixa na Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vítima (APAV). Os instrumentos a aplicar seriam um questionário de auto-relato e uma entrevista semi-estruturada, ambos no domínio das relações românticas. Com a elaboração deste estudo são esperadas determinadas implicações para a prática clínica, no que diz respeito às técnicas de intervenção psicológica e à implementação de programas preventivos.
Marital violence is an actual thematic that is acquiring more and more interest and importance in our society with its recent statute of public crime. For its etiology's comprehension, attachment represents a relevant part, exploring in the point of view of the offender or the victim, who tends to be significantly of the feminine gender. In the present study, the main goals are the evaluation of attachment style in women victims of marital violence, in the context of romantic relationships, and the analysis of the relation between the attachment style and some socio-demographic variables of the studied women, such as the age, the civil state, the number of children, the duration of the marital relationship and the period of victimization. The study would be taken in a sample of women who live with their marital partner (the offender) and who had suffered from physical, psychological or sexual violence in the last year, and presented complaint in Associação Portuguesa de Apoio à Vítima (APAV). The instruments to be administered would be a self-report questionnaire and a semi-structural interview, both in the domain of romantic relationships.With the application of this study, some implications for the clinic are expected, respecting the psychological intervention techniques and the implementation of preventive programs.
