This document describes the process of pedagogical intervention, which took place during the Supervised Teaching Practice, within the scope of the Initiation to Professional Practice IV course of the Master's in Informatics Teaching at the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon. It took place at the São João da Talha School Group, namely at the São João da Talha Basic School. The intervention took place in the academic year 2020/2021 between March 4th and May 13th, the class involved was 9ºC, in the Subject of Information and Communication Technologies, with 3D Modeling being the subject taught. Although the class is in the 9th grade, it is the first year that they have contact with the ICT subject. Therefore, during the school year, there is a symbiosis of the essential learning objectives of the 3rd cycle years. In the subject of 3D Modeling, the operationalization of essential learning, the student should be able to, I quote: understand and use elementary techniques of 3D modeling; analyze what types of problems can be solved using modeling and simulation; decompose an object into its constituent elements and design objects using modeling techniques, aiming at adequate solutions to a problem or project. For the intervention project, project-based learning was used, in the creation and development of a neck band to hold the face protection mask. In this project, several skills were developed, namely the use of a basic program to create and develop three-dimensional objects, which in turn help to promote the development of computational thinking, whether in problem identification, decomposition, abstraction and pattern recognition. The development of creative thinking was also promoted, stimulating curiosity and reflection, having the freedom to be able to produce new ideas and/or integrate them with already learned constructs, creating original products and/or essential solutions for society. Through the results of the project and the evaluation of the intervention, it can be seen that the students were able to successfully achieve the goals they had outlined, developing skills in computational thinking, creative thinking and 3D modeling. It should be noted that, in order to achieve these results, the students contributed mostly with their interest, stimulus, motivation and commitment during classes, in the development of activities and in the realization of the project.
