A presente investigação
teletrabalho e trabalho misto.
no Trabalho.
Even though telework is not new in an organizational context, the pandemic has accentuated its usage and required companies and employees to adapt to a different reality. Companies have had to reinvent and implement new ways of working, and workers have had to respond to the tasks by seeking various resources, such as greater autonomy and flexibility, and being able to better reconcile the activities underlying different life roles. The present research aims to study the relationship between work autonomy and satisfaction with work, family, and leisure roles in a random sample of individuals in telework and hybrid work. The Work Autonomy Scale and the Satisfaction with Life Roles Scale were applied to 169 employees of both genders and from various fields of activity. The results revealed a direct relationship between work autonomy and satisfaction with life roles, and satisfaction with life in general. Men and women, and women with and without children, were also compared regarding satisfaction with life roles and life in general. However significant differences were only found in the comparison between genders regarding the overall satisfaction with life roles, family satisfaction, and satisfaction with life in general. It is also highlighted the contribution of this research to the study of these variables in a telework context, namely through the translation and adaptation of the Work Autonomy Scale.
