The present dissertation concerns the simulation of the creation of heavy neutron deficient nuclei, the so called p nuclei. Nowadays, the explosion of a type II supernovae is pointed as the most probably astrophysical process capable to create all the 35 p nuclei via the γ-process. To perform a numerical network method to mimic these astrophysical process, it was firstly analysed the ingredients of the main numerical tools for nuclear astrophysical simulation and so the nuclear potential - specifically the optical model potential - that could influence the simulation results. Using a numerical code as NucNet Tools , a c++ based code, it was investigated how code numerical proprieties - mainly the time step (∆ t) - and simulation physical input - as the explosion duration (∆texp) or the reaction rate library - can influence the final results. To evaluate the simulation capacity to mimic the results to obtained in the literature [1] it was introduced the overproduction factor (Fi) concept and so it was compared the average normalized overproduction factor for p nuclei (Fi/F0) of both simulation results and literature results [1]. When it were (1)compared the simulation results with the ones available in the literature [1], it was verified the discrepancy of Fi/F0 values between simulation and literature, in particular in intermediate mass p nuclei. We performed a (2) reaction rates sensitivity study of the creation of 184Os. The photodessintegration - (γ, n), (γ, p) and (γ, α) - reaction rates which directly influence the creation of 184Os were modified and it was verified its impact on the production of 184Os. In the results, it is also possible to observe an particular underproduction of 138La. Hence, it was performed a impact study of reaction rates (3) that directly influences the synthesis of 138La and investigated possible changes on reaction rate which could improve simulation capacity to reproduce the literature results.pt_PT
