The Project for the Masters in Drawing developed aims to continue the personal evolution of original characters created during the author’s adolescence and how they will be applied in a narrative. The format that supports the narrative in question is a manga prototype. This manga is characterized by themes related to Yaoi and Boy’s Love. The following presentation is divided into two parts: one deals with the theory surrounding the topic and the other provides a methodological report on its practical element. This first part includes reflections on what Japanese manga is and how it is distributed across various genres and aesthetics. Next, a space is opened to describe the story that accompanies yaoi manga and the Boy’s Love universe of entertainment. The practical description follows the creation of original characters, based on bishounen aesthetics, from its initial sketches dated eight years before this project to the present. The transfiguration that describes the different types of representation of these characters exposes the personal growth within the mentalities that supported its beginnings. The project is not considered the final representation of this personal journey. More correctly, the objective of this work is to acquire a concrete purpose for these characters, even while keeping their future open.
