This dissertation intends to study and apply the methods taught by Richard Williams to make animation through walk cicles. His suggestions of resolution for the several technical problems that emerge before the making of an animation are published in the book The Animator’s Survival Kit, that compiles his lessons, which is taken as the essencial basis. This methods are to be used to obtain several walk cicles in a fluid and natural animation. The used medium will be the computer and specific software for the creation of animation drawn frame by frame. The traditional animation is a complex art that nowadays, although it continues to exist, it has been split into many others techniques of animation that have emerged, among them being stop-motion and 3D animation. Glen Keane shows, in his recent project Duet, that the animation created from hand drawing can be merged with technology. This brings new solutions to this vast area without losing the tradition of animation through drawingpt_PT
