| dc.description.abstract | O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar o contexto de realização e o efeito das substituições no futebol de alto rendimento. A amostra foi constituída por um total de 1584 substituições (556 primeiras, 548 segundas, e 480 terceiras substituições), registadas em 279 jogos da fase de grupos da Liga dos Campeões das épocas de 2012/2013, 2013/2014 e 2014/2015. Os dados foram analisados com recurso à estatística descritiva, o teste do Qui-quadrado e a Regressão Logística Binominal. O estudo foi realizado em duas etapas: Numa primeira etapa foi caracterizado o contexto da solicitação das substituições (1ª, 2ª, 3ª) em função das variáveis contextuais (local do jogo, qualidade do adversário, período de jogo e resultado corrente). A segunda etapa incluiu a análise do efeito das substituições, realizadas numa situação de desvantagem mínima no marcador, na alteração do resultado corrente do jogo, considerando as variáveis temporais (tempo do golo sofrido, tempo da substituição, diferença do tempo entre o golo sofrido e a substituição, diferença do tempo entre a substituição e a alteração do resultado) e contextuais (local do jogo e qualidade do adversário). Os resultados do teste do Qui-quadrado confirmaram uma associação significativa (p≤0,05) entre as variáveis qualidade do adversário*período do jogo; local do jogo*resultado corrente; resultado corrente*qualidade do adversário e o período do jogo*resultado corrente e a realização das substituições no futebol de alto rendimento. Os resultados da Regressão Logística Binominal demonstram que as variáveis local do jogo e o tempo da substituição têm um poder significativo (p≤0,05) na predição do sucesso das substituições. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the study was to analyse the context and the effect of substitutions in high performance soccer. The sample consisted of a total of 1584 substitutions (556 first, 548 2nd and 480 3rd substitutions), registered in 279 games in the group stage of the Champions League in seasons 2012/2013, 2013/2014 and 2014/2015. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square test and Binominal Logistic Regression. The study was conducted in two stages: in the first stage the context of the 1st , 2nd , and 3rd substitutions was characterized according to the contextual variables: game location, quality of opposition, game period and match status. The second stage included the analysis of the effect of substitutions on the match status. The substitutions performed, when the team was playing with a minimal score disadvantage, were analysed according to the time variables (time of the opponent goal allowed, time of substitution, time difference between the goal allowed and the substitution, time difference between the substitution and the next goal scored) and contextual variables (game location and quality of opposition). The results of the Chi-square test confirmed a significant association (p≤0.05) between the variables quality of opposition*game period; match location*match status; match status*quality of opposition, as well as game period*match status and the realization of substitutions in high-performance soccer. The results of Binomial Logistic Regression confirmed that the variables game location and match status had a significant power (p≤0.05) in predicting the success of substitution. | pt_PT |
