Esta investigação toma como objecto de estudo os jovens e as suas representações sobre a adultícia, enquanto experiência de independência financeira, tendo como foco a entrada no mercado de trabalho. Através do uso de uma estratégia qualitativa e intensiva comparativa e em profundidade, de modo a aceder às representações sociais pela voz aos protagonistas da transição para a vida adulta: os jovens em vias de serem adultos – os adults to be. Procura retratar e compreender as representações dos percursos de transição para a vida adulta dos jovens universitários em Portugal e Itália
This research takes as its object of study young people and their representations about adulthood, while experiencing financial independence, focusing on entering the labor market. Through the use of a comparative and in-depth qualitative and intensive strategy to access social representations by the voice and protagonists of the transition to adulthood: the adults to be. It seeks to portray and understand how representations of the transition to adulthood of university students in Portugal and Italy.
