O presente relatório, inserido no Ramo de Aprofundamento de Competências Profissionais do Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora da Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, tem como principal objetivo descrever o trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito da intervenção psicomotora, em crianças com Perturbação do Neurdesenvolvimento, no Centro de Desenvolvimento Infanto-Juvenil dos Açores. Neste documento consta a descrição da instituição, uma revisão bibliográfica no âmbito das Perturbações do Neurodesenvolvimento- Perturbação do Espetro do Autismo e Perturbação de Hiperatividade e Défice de Atenção- população com quem houve contacto e o enquadramento da intervenção psicomotora, com enfoque no domínio do desenvolvimento psicomotor nestas perturbações.
O estágio possibilitou a observação e participação em sessões de avaliação e intervenção de várias especialidades clínicas como Terapia da Fala e Psicologia, constando neste relatório a descrição de uma intervenção conjunta entre as respetivas valências e a Psicomotricidade, desenvolvida em contexto clínico, escolar e familiar com dois estudos de caso. Durante o processo de avaliação foram utilizados como instrumentos de avaliação a Bateria Psicomotora de Vitor da Foseca, a Grelha de Observação Psicomotora, e a Escala de Inteligência de Wechsler para Crianças 3ªEd.
This report, inserted in the Professional Skills Development Branch of the Master's Degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation at the Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, has as main objective to describe the work developed in the context of psychomotor intervention in children with Neurodevelopmental Disorder, at Centro de Desenvolvimento Infanto-Juvenil dos Açores. This document contains the description of the institution, a literature review in the context of Neurodevelopmental Disorders - Autism Spectrum Disorder and Hyperactivity Disorder and Attention Deficit - population with whom there was contact and the framework of psychomotor intervention, with a focus on the domain of development psychomotor in these disorders. The internship allowed the observation and participation in assessment and intervention sessions of various clinical specialties such as Speech Therapy and Psychology, and this report contains a description of a joint intervention between the respective valences and Psychomotricity, developed in a clinical, school and family context with two case studies. During the evaluation process, the Bateria Psicomotora (Vitor da Fonseca), the Grelha de Observação Psicomotora, and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children 3rd Ed were used as evaluation instruments.
