The research focuses on the extraordinary wealth accumulation of Musk and Bezos, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and its role in intensifying socio-economic disparities. A comprehensive review of the literature, combined with case studies, highlights how these elites leverage their economic power to influence political decisions and public policies. The findings underscore the need for more effective regulatory mechanisms to counterbalance the disproportionate influence of financial elites and foster equitable economic development. This study contributes to the academic discourse on inequality and the critical role of billionaires in shaping contemporary global capitalism.
