This paper seeks the construction of a narrative about the sculptural production of Jose Carlos Villar, aiming another hermeneutic friction, centered in the environmental context that inscribes the subject visual artist. We believe that this way we can provide, in theory, a new reading about these configurations, that can keep away them from their immediate relation with the Minimalist Art, which is taken as the first reference that these images elicit
