Abstract(s)

This article presents a brief overview on the work of the important contemporary Brazilian painter Paulo Pasta, also seeking to identify his motivations in the development of his career, his references, as well as the main characteristics of his artistic work. This work presents itself in a very challenging moment, when the artist, always in search of an internal coherence in his work, decides to bring back landscape paintings of his origin, of his native land
