A edição crítica da Crónica Geral de Espanha de 1344 elaborada por Luís Filipe
Lindley Cintra combina as lições preferíveis dos diversos manuscritos da tradição da
Crónica.
O objectivo primordial deste trabalho consiste na restituição de todas as lições
do manuscrito L, conferindo-lhe fielmente o seu aspecto primitivo.
Considering the fact that the critical edition of the General Chronicle of Spain made by Luís Filipe Lindley Cintra, contain variants, emendations and some alterations based on the different witnesses, the objective of the present study is to eliminate all the observed differences and reconstruct the original text of the manuscript L, to restore its archetypal form.
