O presente relatório apresenta as Atividades de Estágio desenvolvidas no âmbito do Mestrado de Reabilitação Psicomotora – Ramo de Aprofundamento de Competências Profissionais, pela Faculdade de Motricidade Humana no ano letivo 2017/2018. O estágio realizou-se no Serviço de Pedopsiquiatria do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça-Funchal, no contexto de saúde mental infantil e juvenil. O seu desenvolvimento deu-se essencialmente em três eixos: ao nível da prática psicomotora de âmbito reeducativo e terapêutico; na relação com outros profissionais, com a participação em reuniões clínicas realizadas pela equipa multidisciplinar de Pedopsiquiatria; e através da intervenção complementar com a família, a escola e a comunidade. Ao longo do estágio foram acompanhadas 9 crianças individualmente e 6 adolescentes em grupo, através de sessões semanais de 50 minutos.
O relatório é composto por uma componente teórica sobre a saúde mental, Psicomotricidade, metodologias de intervenção, contando ainda com uma descrição da entidade acolhedora. Numa segunda parte são apresentados dois estudos-de-caso enquanto modelos exemplificativos da intervenção desenvolvida e que comprovam os efeitos benéficos da intervenção terapêutica a nível psicomotor, emocional e das competências sociais. Por fim, encontram-se descritas as atividades de formação complementares desenvolvidas, bem como uma reflexão acerca do estágio curricular em termos pessoais e profissionais.
This report serves to present the internship activities carried out within the Master’s Degree of Psychomotor Rehabilitation - Branch of Advancement of Professional Competencies, by the Human Kinetics Faculty in the school year 2017/2018. This internship took place at Child Psychiatry Service, in Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital - Funchal, in the field of child and juvenile mental health. Its development took place essentially in three axes: at the psychomotor practice level, in reeducative and therapeutic scope; in the relation with other professionals, with participation in clinical meetings held by multidisciplinary team of Child Psychiatry; and through complementary intervention with family, school and community. During internship, 9 children were accompanied individually and 6 adolescents in group, through weekly sessions of 50 minutes. The report is composed by a theoretical component about mental health, psychomotor therapy, intervention methodologies and a description of the hosting entity. In the second part, two study-cases will be presented, as exemplary models of the intervention developed that prove the beneficial effects of therapeutic intervention at the psychomotor, emotional and social skills level. Finally, the developments of the complementary training activities are described, as well as a reflection about the curricular internship in personal and professional terms.
