Our environments suffer from continual suffocation. The artificial environment - created by man - determines their behavior. The present work deals with the reading and investigation of the role of architecture in the construction of happiness, as the main premise for believing in its importance. Therefore the aim is that architecture opens up to a certain depth, that is, where a high ideal can be found and above all that culminates in (happy) experiences. Unlike the unconscious and distracted forms that we mostly inhabit, it is in the environment around us, during conscious thought, that we experience ourselves as physical and thinking beings, imagining ourselves as bodies in space, among other people and other objects. Thus, having as its initial premise the issue of dwelling in happiness, this observation constitutes an opportunity to rethink the environments we experience, especially in housing. Each new enriched environment could help initiate an impulse that will reverse the cycle of self-perpetuating begging in which most people live. An attempt at a solution will be presented, where Architecture will try to value the well-being of those who inhabit it. The relationship between architecture, happiness, identity and beauty is highlighted.
