The digital medium has brought alternative means for criticism, constituting itself as an alternative to the traditional print medium, favored for centuries for the publication of critical texts on cultural production. While magazines and newspapers present criticism from a frame of reference, blogs, due to participatory and multivalent characteristics, offer an unconventional way to communicate ideas, giving the public the opportunity to participate in dialogue and publicly expose their ideas. New implications related to the publication and dissemination of online content question the nature and relevance of the critic and the criticism. In the graphic design field, new spaces for critical debate lead to greater debate and an increase of information on the subject. This dissertation examines the graphic design criticism in the context of the Internet, and aims to explore and understand the possibilities brought by the online environment, particularly the blog and the forms of critique it provides
