Abstract(s)
estudos posteriores.
The 21st century presented a new possibility for education that directly touched musical teaching: information and communication technologies (ICTs). This study aims to analyze the perception that a group of young choral singers, residing in the city of Petrópolis (Brazil), has on the use of ICTs as complementary to music teaching in their musical education process. The study was carried out with two choirs: the Boys Choir “ Canarinhos de Petrópolis” , and the Girls' Choir of the “ Canarinhos de Petrópolis” . To this end, starting from the theoretical analyzes of the use of ICTs in teaching and, more specifically, in musical education proposed by (Sancho, 1998; Amato, 2018; Machado, 2015, Kronbauer, 2016), we launched ourselves into empirical research, based on remote questionnaires and interviews (GoogleForms and Zoom Platform). The analysis of the answers was based on the descriptive methodology of this specific case (Vergara, 2000; Gil, 2002; Guimarães, 2008; Carmo & Ferreira, 2008), in which it was possible to perceive a plurality of responses from the interviewees that indicates that this study makes possible, in addition to an understanding of the current status of the issue regarding the complementary use of ICTs in music education, the opening to a greater desire of the student in music teaching itself, which, certainly, can be complemented by further studies.
