Resumo(s)
Este trabalho de investigação surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Ciências da Educação,
especialidade de Avaliação da Educação, organizado pela Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências
da Educação da Universidade de Lisboa. A dissertação intitula-se Contributos da avaliação para
o processo de construção e desenvolvimento do Projecto Curricular de Escola e baseia-se num
estudo de caso qualitativo efectuado numa escola básica 1,2,3.
O trabalho mobiliza conhecimentos da teoria da avaliação e da teoria do currículo, com o
objectivo de explorar o contributo da avaliação para o processo de desenvolvimento do currículo
delineado pelo Projecto Curricular de Escola.
Numa primeira parte, introdutória, é apresentada a temática, a sua justificação e o
desenho do estudo, com referência problema e aos objectivos da investigação. O primeiro
capítulo é dedicado ao enquadramento teórico, onde são explorados conceitos do domínio da
avaliação e do currículo ainda o respectivo quadro legal de referência.
No segundo capítulo é definido o enquadramento metodológico da investigação, em
termos da orientação conceptual e da definição de procedimentos.
No terceiro capítulo são apresentados os resultados da investigação, de forma descritiva,
a partir da análise realizada, seguidos da respectiva interpretação.
O capítulo quarto inclui as conclusões e as recomendações decorrentes do estudo.
No final incluem-se as secções dedicadas às referências bibliográficas e aos anexos.
This research was done in order to obtain the Master degree in the Education Sciences' speciality of Educational Evaluation, at the University of Lisbon. The dissertation's name is "the evaluation role in school curriculum project construction and development", and presents a qualitative case study which has taken place in a basic school with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles of study, from 1st to 9th grade. This work stands on evaluation and curriculum theory, and tries to explore evaluation's role within the school-based curriculum development. This dissertation has five major parts. The first part is the study introduction and refers to the research question and objectives and also to the research design. In the first chapter is included the literature review on several concepts within evaluation and curriculum theory as well as its legal background in basic education. The second chapter refers to the methodology and the third chapter shows the research findings, illuminated by theory. At the end, we provide some conclusions and recommendations from the study, and is presented the bibliography and the research complimentary material.
