Arqueologia S.A..
ligadas a estes trabalhos arqueológicos.
The present paper reflects the work carried out during the internship on the company Era- Arqueologia S.A.. During this internship, I was involved in two Impact Minimization projects, arising from the Alqueva Irrigation Canals, that is a part of the Alqueva Multiple Purpose Project, coordinated by the EDIA, SA.. The aim of this report is to present the archaeological work carried out during the internship, addressing the methodologies, the intervening parties and the utility of the Environmental Impact Assessments on a field such as Archaeology. It is also intended to problematize issues that are considered important related to the practice of Archaeology in Portugal, setting them in the case study of the Irrigation Canals of Alqueva, but also addressing the national and current situation, especially at the intervening parties level related to these archaeological works.
