Este artigo reúne 553 palavras e frases da linguagem Guaraní sobre a moradia e a casa-longa, registradas por Antonio Ruiz de Montoya no início do século XVII. A produção e o uso dessas casas-longas são práticas de sociabilidade transmitidas entre as gerações e que expressam materialmente ações de colaboração, consideração e a conexão entre as pessoas e o meio ambiente. Trata-se de uma fonte para pesquisas históricas, antropológicas, arqueológicas e linguísticas, útil para as gerações mais novas dos povos originários e as pessoas interessadas pelos conhecimentos arquitetônicos e os modos de vida ancestrais dos Guaraní.
This article gathers 553 words and phrases from the Guaraní language about dwelling and the longhouses, registered by Antonio Ruiz de Montoya in the early 17th century. The production and use of these longhouses are practices of sociability transmitted through the generations and that express material actions of collaboration, consideration, and the connection between humans and the environment. It is a source for historical, anthropological, archaeological, and linguistic research, useful for the younger generations of the native peoples and for those who are interested in the architectural knowledge and ancestral ways of life of the Guaraní.
