Resumo(s)
A exclusão gradativa do convívio social offline em prol da Internet tem preocupado
cientistas ao redor do mundo. Uma questão que tem promovido inúmeras pesquisas com
o objetivo de entender a opção do indivíduo pela web em detrimento do contato
interpessoal. O movimento de imergir em comunidades virtuais, seja por meio dos
computadores ou telemóveis, a fim de buscar um novo tipo de interação.
O objetivo central deste trabalho é de fomentar uma reflexão com relação à perceção dos
indivíduos acerca da dependência em Internet. Uma ação mediada pelos ecrãs e que
tem aos poucos acarretado efeitos colaterais desagradáveis no que tange a diminuição
do convívio face-a-face. O movimento crescente de migração do indivíduo pós-moderno
para as comunidades virtuais e a opção deste pelas relações calcadas nos laços débeis
(fracos) é um dos focos desta análise.
Em termos metodológicos, optou-se por utilizar o método hipotético-dedutivo, com
escopo empírico (quantitativo e qualitativo), por meio de inquéritos por questionário
online e por revisão documental. Por se tratar de uma análise teórica e prática, o estudo
visa promover o convite a um novo “olhar social” acerca dos indivíduos que optam em
fechar-se em seus próprios “mundos” e expurgar as relações externas em prol da
Internet.
The gradual exclusion from social contact offline in favor of the Internet has worried scientists around the world. One issue that has sparked numerous studies aiming to understand the choice of the individual for the net of interpersonal contact. The movement of immersing in virtual communities, either through computers or mobile phones to seek interaction. The central objective of this analysis is to encourage reflection regarding the perception of individuals about the reliance on Internet. An action mediated through screens and has promote unpleasant effects when it comes to face-to-face communication. Of the growing migration of individual postmodern to the virtual communities for the relationships predicated on weak ties. In methodological terms, we chose to use the hypothetical-deductive method, with empirical scope (quantitative and qualitative), through questionnaire surveys online and documental review. Being an analysis of theoretical and practical scope, the study aims to promote the attention for a new "social gaze" about individuals who choose to withdraw into their own "worlds" and expunge foreign relations in favor of the Internet.
