Esta dissertação concentra-se no estudo de algumas questões relativas à forma do
livro que são também questões de teoria da literatura. A apresentação material e visual
de um livro transmite informação acerca do seu conteúdo e, por isso, pode ser vista
como uma espécie de crítica, entregue ao leitor por meio de estímulos visuais e tácteis,
ao invés de por meio verbal. Ao longo deste estudo, apontam-se alguns pressupostos
e consequências desta proposição.
Abstract: This dissertation focuses on the study of a few issues related to the form of the book as such, which are also matters of literary theory. The visual and material presentation of a book conveys information about its content, and can therefore be regarded as a kind of criticism, delivered to the reader by means of visual and tactile stimuli, rather than by verbal means. This study points out some premises and consequences of this proposition.
