Abstract(s)
O estado de deterioração do Pátio do Desterro e do Convento
do Desterro são a problemática que dá mote à intervenção,
considerando-os uma oportunidade no meio de uma cidade
descaracterizada. A intervenção foca a sua atenção no espaço
público e nas caracteristicas do edificado que permitem manter
uma relação com o passado.
A relação entre o conjunto arquitetónico a intervir e o território é
conseguida através da identificação e da leitura dos elementos
que compõem a paisagem urbana da Colina de Santana. A
aproximação ao lugar é estabelecida sobre a memória e
a identidade do conjunto e sobre a sua história, que vão
fundamentar o programa e as intenções projetuais.
De modo a estabelecer a interação entre os dois conjuntos é
projetado um equipamento que garante a sua ligação sobre
conceitos urbanos, com um programa que complemente os
usos atuais. Essa interação surge através da permeabilidade do
território e da partilha do espaço público.
ABSTRACT: The state of deterioration of the Pátio do Desterro and the Convento do Desterro are the problematic that gives motto to the intervention, considering them an opportunity in the middle of a discharged city. Intervening focuses on the public space and on the characteristics of the building that allow us to maintain a relationship with the past. The relationship between the architectural set to intervene and the territory is achieved through the identification and reading of the elements that compose the urban landscape of the Colina de Santana. The approach to the place is established on the memory and identity of the group and on its history, which will underlie the program and the intentions of the project. In order to establish the interaction between the two sets is designed an equipment that guarantees its connection on urban concepts, with a program that complements the current uses.
