Edição e tradução de doze discursos latinos em louvor da Rainha Santa Isabel compostos por mestres jesuítas dos sécs. XVI e XVII. Inclui introduções, notas e comentários que esclarecem os tópicos, a mestria retórica demonstrada pelos oradores, as referências culturais, religiosas e históricas utilizadas, etc. Os discursos contribuem, e.g., para os estudos sobre a figura hagiográfica da Rainha Santa, a arte oratória dos jesuítas, a Universidade de Coimbra nos sécs.
