Este relatório de estágio do Mestrado de Análises Clínicas pretende descrever todas as actividades na qual estive envolvida durante o período de estágio em Labamaro.
Na primeira parte, são descritos os métodos usados na execução de análises nas várias secções do laboratório (hematologia, bioquímica, imunologia e microbiologia) e a respectiva interpretação de resultados.
Na segunda parte, apresenta-se uma breve descrição das actividades desenvolvidas na introdução da secção de biologia molecular. Assim, são descritos os fundamentos básicos da técnica de PCR, do equipamento utilizado, da técnica de pesquisa do virus Influenza A H1N1 2009, a qual já está em funcionamento, e da técnica de pesquisa de HLA-B27 que vai entrar em processo de validação.
This report for the Clinical Biology Master pretends to describe all the activities on which I was involved during my practice in Labamaro. The first part, has a description of all the methods used in the lab tests on all the laboratory sections (haemathology, biochemistry, immunology and microbiology) and the results evaluation involved in this testing. In the second part of this report, there’s a brief description of the Molecular Biology section. As so, the basic fundamentals of PCR are described in here, together with the fundamentals of the instrument used, the laboratory diagnosis of the Influenza H1N1 virus, which is already in use, and the laboratory diagnostics of HLA-B27 that will be entering soon in validation testing.
