Para que o Brasil alcance o nível de desenvolvimento almejado, seus potenciais devem ser aproveitados ao máximo, de maneira sustentável, respeitando os limites impostos por sua natureza. Com a maior biodiversidade do mundo e a floresta mais importante do planeta, não há dúvidas que não podemos mais adiar o desenvolvimento (e a ação) de um plano estratégico para a região Amazônica. Mergulhados nesta problemática, procuraremos indicar hipóteses para o aproveitamento sustentável da Amazônia, tentando justificar sempre a importância da utilização sustentável de seus recursos, e assim garantir a sobrevivência da floresta. Nosso principal objetivo é demonstrar que a otimização dos benefícios que a floresta pode produzir está diretamente ligada às atividades sustentáveis e que qualquer atividade predatória pode se configurar em prejuízos ambientais, sociais e econômicos para o país.

With the biggest biodiversity in the world and the most important forest on the planet, there is no doubt that we can not postpone the development of a strategic plan for a Amazon region. Inside of this problematic, we will try to indicate hypothesis to the sustainable exploitation of the Amazon, trying to always justify the importance of the sustainable utilization of your resources, and on this way, guarantee the forest survive. Our main goal is demonstrate that the optimization of the benefits that the forest can produce is directly connected with the sustainable activities and that any predatory activity can become in environment, social and economics damages to the country.
