| dc.description.abstract | Partindo do princípio de que a valorização do Património Histórico e Arqueológico nunca foi mais importante, o presente trabalho tem como foco essa premissa. Compreendendo os moldes em que a apreciação e a salvaguarda do Património se inserem, e tendo em conta a situação actual da arqueologia portuguesa, acredita-se que mais e melhor poderia ser feito. Portugal já possui uma longa história de instituições que procuraram proteger e salvaguardar o Património português, por se ter a noção de que apesar do ditado dizer que a história é cíclica, a realidade diz o contrário, pois as edificações dos vários períodos históricos contam todas uma história diferente, todos os sítios arqueológicos têm a sua singularidade e individualidade, e enquanto nação não só temos o dever de preservá-la, como também temos o direito de apreciá-la. O nosso território está repleto de sítios magníficos, o Vale do Côa é um dos nossos maiores exemplos, o qual não só coadjuvou numa mudança do quadro legal como nos mostrou todo um mundo, do qual só temos conhecimento através destas pequenas relíquias que chegaram até aos nossos dias. Preservá-las e salvaguardá-las é imperativo, a história só acontece uma vez, o resto fica perdido na memória. Assim iniciamos este trabalho com a descrição das tarefas efectuadas no âmbito do estágio, aprofundou-se a história da Tutela que actualmente detém o nome de Direcção Geral do Património Cultural, passando para uma abordagem mais legislativa, no sentido em que se procurou abordar Decretos-Lei que tivessem tido impacto na Arqueologia Portuguesa, aprofundaram-se os conjuntos de perguntas consideradas pertinentes para a comunidade arqueológica, terminando com o Vale do Côa, sítio visitável sobre o qual nos debruçámos mais pormenorizadamente. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Assuming from the beginning that the valorization of the Historical and Archaeological Heritage has never been more important, the present work focuses on this premise. Understanding the molds in which the appreciation and safeguarding of Heritage are inserted and considering the current situation of Portuguese archaeology, it´s believed that more and better could had been done. Portugal already has a long history of institutions that seek to protect and safeguard the Portuguese Heritage, for having the notion that, despite the saying that history is cyclical, reality says the opposite, due to the buildings of the various historical periods all telling a different story, all archaeological sites have their uniqueness and individuality. As a nation we not only have the duty to preserve it, but we also have the right to appreciate it. Our territory is full of magnificent sites, the Côa Valley is one of our greatest examples, and it not only helped to change the legal framework but also showed us a whole world, which we only know about through these small relics that have reached our days. Preserving and safeguarding them is imperative. History only happens once, the rest is lost in memory. This way we start this work with the description of the task made within the scope of internship, the history of “Tutela”, which currently holds the name “Direcção Geral do Património cultural” was deepened, switching to a more legislative approach, in the sense that it looked to address law-decrees that had an impact in the Portuguese archaeology. Question sets considered pertinent to the archaeology community were deepened, ending with “Vale do Côa” a visitable place which we pored over more in detail. | pt_PT |
