Abstract(s)
A primeira corresponde à actividade
psicossociais. A abordagem ergonómica permite a análise e avaliação desses novos
SPSS (análise descritiva e aplicação do teste do Qui-quadrado).
Abstract: This report is divided into two parts. The first corresponds to the main stage activity that focuses on the analysis of working conditions in the office. The introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) led to significant changes in working methods. However, new constraints emerged including the occurrence of musculoskeletal, visual and psychosocial disorders. The ergonomic approach allows the analysis and evaluation of these new methods, identifying, eliminating/reducing the hazards and risks to improve working conditions. The sample consists of 50 employees of the Municipal Water and Sanitation Services (SMAS) Amadora and Oeiras. We used interviews with a guidance document and observations, applying the method RULA, Evaluation Matrix and measurement of environmental parameters. Later we used the SPSS (descriptive analysis and application of the chi-square). Statistically significant associations were found between some constraints and signs and symptoms Musculoskeletal, visual and psychosocial, which suggests that some constraints and some characteristics of the equipment can contribute to the occurrence of these complaints. The second part concerns the complementary activities carried out, namely, participation in the project INSAT, technical visits, development of proposals for innovation, ergonomic analysis of work in specific situations, risk assessments, participation in the internal bulletin of the SMAS and research and acquisition of material.
