This paper reflects how the animated image can aggregate different contexts through considered postmodern characteristics. The work analyzed is the short Fado Lusitano (1995), by animator Abi Feijó, that shows the ‘collage’ as main characteristic. Through cutout technique and many appropriations, it puts together various contexts that result in a representation of Portugal history
