Resumo(s)
This dissertation seeks to disseminate the sculptor João Fragoso (1913-2000) with a vast work, and preponderance in the world of sculpture in Portugal, whose bibliography is often lacking or difficult to access and dispersed. In this paper, I want to present an inventory of public sculpture of João Fragoso, describing in more detail some of the pieces that I find most relevant in his route, and then do a small approach to materials and techniques with the purpose of create a greater perception and knowledge. I also want to create some points of reflection, showing that a sculptor does not have to be limited to a technique, a style or a philosophy, revealing the importance of a man in Portugal in the introduction of new artistic currents
