O presente relatório refere-se ao estágio que realizei no Teatro da Cornucópia, desde o primeiro ao último dia de ensaio, e incide sobre o processo criativo e a direcção de actores no espectáculo Ifigénia na Táurida, numa encenação de Luís Miguel Cintra. Através da experiência que obtive nesse período e do registo dos ensaios no Diário de Bordo, procuro descrever os trabalhos desenvolvidos. Apesar de concluir que não existe propriamente um método, é possível falar de uma procura em conjunto e de um trabalho individual do encenador com cada actor, baseado na exaustiva leitura da peça à mesa e no levantamento do “pensamento” dos personagens, que constituirá o fio orientador da interpretação dos actores.
Abstract: This is an internship report on the work I carried out at the Teatro da Cornucópia, from the first to the last day of rehearsal, and it focuses on the creative process and direction of actors as regards the play Ifigénia na Táurida [Iphigenia in Tauris], as directed by Luís Miguel Cintra. Based on the experience acquired during that period and on the records of the rehearsals I kept in the Logbook, I seek to describe the work developed. Although I conclude that there is not, properly speaking, a method, it is possible to speak of a joint research and of the director’s individual work with each actor, based on an exhaustive table reading of the play and survey of characters’ “thinking”, which is the guiding principle of actors’ interpretation.
