Este trabalho busca a sua razão de existir na necessidade de se conhecerem quais os factores mais valorizados pelos formandos na apreciação do sucesso das acções de formação frequentadas. Foi realizada uma revisão de literatura que permitiu elaborar as questões de pesquisa para este trabalho, a resposta a essas questões foi dada através da realização de um estudo empírico. Este foi elaborado com recurso a questionários e entrevistas junto de 200 trabalhadores de duas empresas e, duas entrevistas aos Directores de Recursos Humanos das mesmas. As questões de pesquisa orientavam-se para a determinação dos aspectos mais valorizados na apreciação do sucesso das acções de formação e, se variáveis como o género, a idade, as habilitações literárias, antiguidade na empresa e hierarquia, tinham influência na resposta. As principais conclusões obtidas com o estudo revelaram que os inquiridos pertencentes a determinado género, com diferentes intervalos etários, com diferentes níveis de habilitações, com diferentes posições hierárquicas e há mais ou menos tempo na empresa, valorizam factores diferentes na avaliação do sucesso das acções de formação.
This dissertation analysis the need in knowing which are the factors that have more importance for the trainees when appreciating the success of the training sessions they attend. A literature revision took place which allowed the elaboration of issues of investigation for this dissertation, the answer to these issues were given through an empirical study. This study took place through questionnaires, interviewing 200 workers of two companies and two interviews with the Human Resource Managers of these two companies. The issues that were investigated were related with determining which were the aspects that were more important in the appreciation of the success of the training sessions and if these aspects changed according to the gender, age, educational history, the quantity of years the person had worked in the company and his position in the company. The main conclusions of this study show that the trainees value different aspects when appreciating the success of the training sessions they attended , regarding their gender, age, educational history, the quantity of years the person has worked in the company and the position that people have in the company.
