Os povos Indígenas foram apagados nos cinco séculos de construção do passado e presente de São Paulo. Este artigo é uma discussão de alguns aspectos desta situação, destacando o fato de que a arqueologia em perspectiva interdisciplinar deve agir para reverter tal prática e contribuir na consideração das comunidades tradicionais e de seus direitos civis.
The Indigenous peoples were erased in the five centuries of building the past and present of São Paulo. This article discusses some aspects of this situation, highlighting the fact that archaeology from an interdisciplinary perspective must act to reverse such practice and contribute to the consideration of traditional communities and their civil rights.
