| dc.description.abstract | O Século XXI irá ser dos séculos mais galvanizadores e contrastantes de sempre. Aqui chegados, a humanidade prepara-se para enfrentar alguns dos seus maiores desafios de sempre – desafios novos e inéditos, como as alterações climáticas, crises migratórias sem precedentes e o advento da biotecnologia disruptiva, os quais até agora a humanidade não se tem relevado capaz de pensar e construir soluções estruturadas e sólidas. Os objetivos desta tese são os de, em primeiro lugar, conseguir esquematizar a situação atual de alguns temas que importunam mais as pessoas no seu quotidiano; de em segundo lugar também explicar os problemas e desafios que nos podem assolar no futuro e, em terceiro lugar, se possível, construir uma base sólida que nos permita encontrar soluções e alternativas que se possam revelar viáveis na resolução dos problemas encontrados. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The twenty-first century will be one of the most galvanizing and contrasting centuries ever. Arriving here, humanity is preparing to face some of its greatest challenges ever – new and unprecedented challenges, such as climate change, unprecedented migration crises and the advent of disruptive biotechnology, which until now humanity has not been able to think about and build structured and solid solutions. The objectives of this thesis are, firstly, to be able to outline the current situation of some themes that bother people more in their daily lives; secondly, also to be able to explain the problems and challenges that may beset us in the future, and thirdly, if possible, to build a solid basis that will allow us to find solutions and alternatives that may prove viable in solving the problems encountered. | pt_PT |
