Within the Project PAMAF 4031 "Ecology and Game Management of Anatidae and Ralidae on Mondego Lowlands" some management actions of rice fields to improve conditions for waterfowl were tested on Mondego Lowlands. The flooding of rice fields after harvest was positive for the species in study as also for waders and other waterbirds.
