Especificidades setoriais na evolução do valor bruto da produção agropecuária municipal no estado do Rio Grande do Sul entre 1970 e 2006

| dc.description.abstract | Este artigo analisa as mudanças espaciais e Resumo: as especificidades setoriais da evolução do Valor Bruto da Produção Agropecuária-VBPA nos municípios do Rio Grande do Sul, entre 1970 e 2006. As informações foram coletadas dos Censos Agropecuários do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística-IBGE e foram comparadas em sua evolução intertemporal em nível municipal e setorial. As dez atividades agropecuárias com maior participação no VBPA total foram analisadas. Os resultados mostraram que, a despeito da evolução de 25,91% no VBPA total do Estado no período de 1970 a 2006, a participação das atividades nesse crescimento foi distinta. Atividades com grande participação no VBPA total em 1970, como o trigo e a pecuária de grande porte, perderam espaço para outras que apresentaram grande crescimento nesse lapso de tempo, como a soja, o fumo, a silvicultura e as lavouras permanentes. A mudança na importância das atividades se refletiu em mudança no ranking dos municípios com maior destaque no VBPA, onde ganharam participação aqueles que se especializaram nos setores mais dinâmicos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This paper analyzes the spatial changes a Abstract: nd the sectoral evolution of the Gross Value of Agricultural Production (VBPA) in the municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul State, Brasil, from 1970 to 2006. The data was collected in the Agricultural Census published by IBGE Institute and they were compared to their intertemporal evolution at the municipal level and sector. The ten agricultural activities with more participation in the VBPA total were analyzed. The results showed that, despite the evolution of 25.91% in total VBPA state in the period from 1970 to 2006, the share of activities in this growth was different. Activities with great participation in VBPA total in 1970, such as wheat and cattle large, lost participation to others who had great growth in that period of time, such as soybeans, tobacco, forestry and permanent crops. The change in the importance of the activities was reflected in changes in the ranking of cities with more participation in VBPA, where the cities that increased their participation were those that specialized in the most dynamic sectors. | pt_PT |
