When sailing the Tejo, we understand its impact on the design of the riverfronts, being easily navigable, the human being settled on its banks. As the river became the main source of income, it led to the appearance of several types of boats, from which it is possible to know the Tejo. The industries found in the waterfronts a place for their permanence, by observing the limit of the South margin, we understand its industrial character. With maritime navigation being the only way to travel along the river, Almada became one of the main points of fluvial connections, with the appearance of road infrastructures, the city lost its importance. Along the water’s edge it develops with the evolution of landfills for the implementation of industries, this is how the old Lisnave shipyards, now deactivated, was born. Observing this place and having as base the concepts defended referring to utopia and mega structures, the imagined scenario develops from the deconstruction of the embankment where only dock 13 remains. By regularizing the margin by the limit of the dock, the structuring axis that connects the South margin to the Tagus River emerges, from it the megastructure that aims to give back to this place its value as a riverfront.
