dc.description.abstractA margem sul caracteriza-se principalmente pelo seu acentuado declive voltado para a margem norte. Graças à sua forma, os núcleos populacionais encontram-se dispersos ao longo do território. Em concreto, o Cais do Ginjal debruça-se e prolonga-se ao longo do rio Tejo, obrigando o edificado acompanhar a linha de água, desenhando um percurso à beira-rio estreito de Cacilhas à Quinta da Arealva. Em relação ao seu edificado, grande parte são ruínas que guardam a memória de um lugar o qual em tempos tinha uma enorme vivência. Contudo, nos dias de hoje apesenta apenas as ruínas e fragmentos desse passado. Assim o projecto final de mestrado, Linha no Tejo, foca-se na requalificação e reabilitação da frente ribeirinha do Cais do Ginjal. Na reflexão e análise da história do lugar, o objectivo tem como foco em reencontrar uma nova identidade do Cais e estabelecer a relação que existia entre água e terra. Ao longo do Ginjal as ruínas existentes serão reaproveitadas transformando-as em espaços públicos, equipamentos, habitações, tendo em conta as necessidades da população local, e um percurso pedonal ao longo do rio, partindo de Cacilhas, onde este nó estabelece a ligação entre a frenteribeirinha e o espaço urbano de Almada. À medida que vamos acompanhando a linha do rio, novos espaços surgem a partir das ruínas e dos fragmentos, tendo sempre em conta a subida média do mar. O percurso chega ao fim ao encontrarmo-nos com a Quinta da Arealva. Onde se transforma no lugar para pequenas embarcações, quer seja de lazer ou pesca, encontram abrigo, onde podemos encontrar inúmeros mercados que convida a participar ou visitar, onde podemos ter o prazer de estar num restaurante que surge a partir das ruínas existentes e ao mesmo tempo a admirar o rio Tejo com Lisboa como plano de fundo, onde perdemo-nos numa piscina abraçada pelos fragmentos do sítio e inundada pelo rio, e finalmente um sítio onde podemos apanhar um cacilheiro a partir de um terminal escondido no declive do miradouro de Arealva.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThe south margin of the mouth of Tejo river caracterizes itself mainly by the sharp decline facing the north margin, where we found the capital city, Lisbon. In consequences of it form, the populations find themselves rather dispersed along the territory. To be precise the Cais of Ginjal leans over and extends itself along the river , forcing edification in a line by the water front, drawing a trail side a side with Tejo beginning in Cacilhas and finishing in Quinta da Arealva. About the edification most of the constructions are ruins that save the memory of a place that in its time had alot of movement and life. Even thought, nowadays it only has ruins and fragments of the past. With this, my final project of masters degree, Linha do Tejo, bases itself in the requalification and reabilitation of Cais do Ginjal, giving a new identity to the present edification and ruins that live there. By the reflection an analysis of the local history, the objective has a focus on finding the new identity of the Cais an establish the connnection that existed between the land and water . Along Cais do Ginjal the present ruins will be reused by transforming then into a public spaces, equipements, habitation, in correlation with the needs of local population and pedonal route along the river, starting in Cacilhas, where this node will establish the link between the river front and the ubran space of Almada. As we walk by the river line new spaces emerge between ruins and fragments, taking always account the average sea level.The route come to and end when it reaches Quinta da Arealva. Where it transforms into a place where small vessels, whether for leisure or fishing, can find shelter, where people can visit numerous markets that invite everyone to participate or visit, where we can take pleasure in a restaurant born in the present ruins observing the Tagus river with Lisbon as the background, where we can get lost in a pool embraced by the fragments and flooded by the river and finaly, where we can catch a boat from the hidden terminal on the slope of the viewpoint of Arealva.pt_PT
