Resumo(s)
The investigation leading to this dissertation unfolds from a thought that seeks to understand artistic creation as a place. This is conceived through the relationship established between the act of constructing a work and thought, in a dual communication between the exterior and the interior. In this sense, the research is grounded in the artist's personal experience and what motivates them to create, focusing primarily on the analysis of the situation and the event in a so-called existential place. It aims to comprehend the interior and exterior process, as if embarking on an internal and external journey that takes place while the artwork is being constructed. The language of place is explored, as well as the necessity of creation, the interior experience, and how it materializes into an external experience, transposing itself into an installation moment that is given to others from a staged setting. The installation is understood as a theater of objects, with its own bodily script, involving a shared experience, a process, and a manifestation of energies between bodies situated on the stage. The stage is open to the interaction of another - the spectator - enabling a performativity between bodies that takes place in the space through the entry and exit of spectators, thus dissolving the distance between the observer and the artwork. The aim is to understand the experience and moment of the place, both its interior and exterior, capable of realizing its own phenomenology of perception, in which both the artist and the spectator become part of a whole in the event, always on equal footing with the situation, in which knowledge begins with experience and remains within it.
