O presente relatório procura descrever a experiência de estágio realizado no âmbito do
Ramo de Aprofundamento de Competências Profissionais do Mestrado em Reabilitação
Psicomotora, da Faculdade de Motricidade Humana. O estágio ocorreu no Serviço de
Psiquiatria do Centro Hospitalar Médio Tejo, no decorrer do ano letivo 2020/21 e teve a
duração de nove meses.
Este trabalho contempla um capítulo referente ao enquadramento teórico, no qual se
procura contextualizar a prática psicomotora no contexto da Saúde Mental, um segundo
capítulo que diz respeito ao enquadramento institucional, onde se caracteriza o local de
intervenção, bem como algumas das perturbações mais prevalentes no mesmo e um
terceiro capítulo referente à prática profissional, no qual se apresentam dois estudos de
caso.
Ao longo do estágio, foi possível acompanhar 19 utentes, com idades compreendidas entre
os 21 e os 62 anos, acompanhados em contexto de grupo terapêutico e dois deles em
intervenção individual, simultaneamente. Dos casos acompanhados, 7 tiveram alta clínica
para integrar projetos na comunidade ou retomar a atividade profissional.
Em suma, o conteúdo teórico e reflexivo deste relatório, tendo em conta a experiência de
estágio vivenciada, permite reforçar a importância da validação científica do potencial
terapêutico da terapia psicomotora.
This report aims to describe the internship experience carried out under the professional skills deepening branch of master´s degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation, at the Faculty of Human Kinetics. The internship took place at the Psychiatry Service of Médio Tejo Hospital Center, during the academic year 2020/2021 and lasted nine months. This work includes a chapter referring to the theoretical framework, which seeks to contextualize the psychomotor practice in the context of Mental Health, a second chapter regarding the institutional framework, which characterizes the place of intervention as well as some of the most prevalent disorders in it and a third chapter referring to professional practice, in which two case studies are presented. During the internship, it was possible to follow 19 patients, aged between 21 and 62 years, accompanied in the context of a therapeutic group and two of them in individual intervention, simultaneously. Of the cases followed up, 7 were discharged from the hospital to join projects in the community or resume their professional activity. Finally, the theoretical and reflective content of this report, considering the internship experience, reinforces the importance of scientific validation of the therapeutic potential of psychomotor therapy.
