Resumo(s)
The everyday landscape, or at least the one that still remains on his memories, is the main character of the work of the Venezuelan artist Franco Contreras. A landscape composed by lines, shapes and practically ephemeral materials that are settled in the space as drawings, assemblies or floating sculptures characterised by its complexity or on the other hand by it simplicity. These works represent a diverse imagination made to recreate his childhood in the countryside and a kind of regression to a primitive universe which, coincidentally, makes it a contemporary one
