O presente texto constitui o relatório referente à prática docente realizada na Escola
Básica e Secundária Gil Vicente, com uma turma do sétimo ano, no âmbito da disciplina de
Oficina de Expressão Plástica. Uma aprendizagem cujo processo passou por várias fases de
trabalho que conduziram ao projeto pictórico, procurando um encontro entre as necessidades
dos alunos e metas de aprendizagem estipuladas para o sétimo ano escolar. A Unidade
Didática foi desenvolvida ao longo de um semestre de aulas com a duração de 20 aulas de 90
minutos cada. O projeto pedagógico foi apresentado dentro do plano das atividades escolares
da Escola Gil Vicente, tendo por tema central as Comemorações do Centenário da República
Portuguesa. Considerando a Proclamação da República como marco histórico nacional com
importantes transformações sociais e políticas. Os valores democráticos e cívicos foram
relacionados com os Direitos Humanos, constituindo os temas desenvolvidos na Unidade
Didática.
A escola Básica e Secundária de Gil Vicente nasceu dos ideais da República, tendo
acompanhado as convulsões políticas do Estado Novo e da Revolução do 25 de Abril de
1974. Os intervenientes educativos da instituição de ensino sempre defenderam os ideais
democráticos inspirados na igualdade de oportunidades. Torna-se premente a máxima
mobilização de esforços educativos com o objetivo de promover o sucesso escolar, devido às
dificuldades sociais, políticas e económicas da atualidade. A presente proposta realizada no
âmbito do Mestrado via Ensino em Artes Visuais, procurou criar vínculos sociais e afetivos
nos alunos, visando a sua integração no meio escolar, através da proposta de uma prática
pedagógica focada no trabalho cooperativo.
This text is the report on the teaching practice held at Gil Vicente High School, with a class of seventh year, under the discipline of Plastic Expression Workshop. A learning process which has gone through several phases of work leading up to the draft final painting, seeking a meeting between the students’ needs and learning goals set for the seventh grade. The classes were developed over a semester with 20 lessons of 90 minutes each. The project was presented within the plan school activities, with the central theme of the Centenary Celebration of the Portuguese Republic, a national historic landmark with important democratic transformations. The school was born from the ideals of the Republic and followed the political upheavals of the New State and the Carnage Revolution with the military coup of April 25th in the year of 1974. The school teatchers always defended democratic ideals inspired in equal opportunities for all students. In the present time, due to social, political and economic problems, it becomes urgent to continue this process, mobilizing maximum educational efforts aimed at promoting school success. The proposal made under the Education Master in Visual Arts, sought to create social and emotional bonds in students, aiming their integration into the school through the proposal of a pedagogical practice focused on collaborative work and internalization of civic values. Citizenship and Human Rights were developed themes during the classes.
