O presente relatório surge no âmbito do Mestrado de Ensino de Artes Visuais
no 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Secundário, e presta-se a reunir as informações
conducentes à prática de ensino supervisionada, decorrida na Escola Básica e
Secundária Helena Cidade Moura, com uma turma de 12º ano do Curso Científicohumanístico
de Artes Visuais, na disciplina de Oficina de Artes.
A unidade didática, intitulada “Escultura Pública e Sustentabilidade:
Metodologias de projeto aplicadas no Ensino Artístico Secundário”, contemplou a
duração total de onze aulas, observando-se o seu início ao dia 21 do mês de março de
2023 e concluindo ao dia 2 de junho de 2023. Encontra-se orientada, sob a luz dos
pressupostos teórico-práticos das metodologias de projeto, para a resposta ao
paradigma da escassez de unidades didáticas contemplativas do ensino da escultura
no ensino artístico secundário. Para esta unidade de trabalho, definiram-se como
principais objetivos a análise e interpretação da escultura pública, considerando a
sustentabilidade per se como elemento latente na produção artística, estabelecendo,
por sua vez, pontos de reflexão que se prendem com modos de atuação cívica.
Dos resultados obtidos, constatou-se a concretização dos objetivos definidos
para a unidade didática proposta, revelados na aquisição significativa das
aprendizagens no domínio da interpretação e análise da escultura pública, bem como
na aquisição de conhecimentos no domínio da sustentabilidade.
The present report is within the scope of the Master’s Degree in Visual Arts Education for the 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education, and aimes to gather information related to supervised teaching practice, carried out at Helena Cidade Moura Basic and Secondary School, with a 12th-grade class from Visual Arts Scientific-Humanistic Course, specifically in the subject of Art Workshop. The didactic unit, titled “Public Sculpture and Sustainability: Project Methodologies Applied in Secondary Art Education'', spanned a total of eleven lesions, commencing on the 21st of March 2023, and concluding on the 2nd of June 2023. It is guided by the theoretical and practical foundations of project methodologies, aiming to adress the paradigm of the scarcity of didactic units focusing on sculpture teaching in secondary art education. The primary objectives for this work unit were the analysis and interpretation of public sculpture,with sustainability as an inherent element of artistic production, and the establishment of points of reflection related to civic engagement. From the results obtained, it was observed that the defined objectives for the proposed didactic unit were achieved, revealed in the significant acquisition of learning in the domain of interpreting and analyzing public sculpture, as well as in the acquisition of knowledge in the domain of sustainability.
