no âmbito do projeto iClass, implementado no Colégio.
A utilização do Projeto iClass
competências do perfil do aluno à saída da escolaridade obrigatória.
The Supervised Teaching Practice Report presents the experiences developed within the scope of the initiation to teaching practice. It details and reflects on the activities conducted in the Geography classes with 9th-grade students at Colégio Vasco da Gama during the 2022/2023 school year. These activities were conducted as part of the iClass project implemented at the school. The thematic focus was the study of local urban problems, specifically under the geographic theme of Population and Settlement, with the subtheme Human Settlement Areas. Students engaged in a case study project titled "Think Local – Act Rationally," utilizing various strategies such as coaching, self-regulated learning, collaborative work, and the flipped classroom model. The project involved selecting an urban issue within the students' residential areas and exploring strategies to address these problems. The final output included a video created by the students and a slideshow presentation. The group work aimed to foster an interest in studying Geography, as well as spatial and systemic thinking. The use of the iClass Project enabled the implementation of diverse support strategies tailored to students with varying learning paces and difficulties. The study of the local area served to identify specific urban issues. This allowed students to research, collect data on the topics under study, and propose solutions to address some of the identified problems. They applied classroom learnings about urban issues to real-world scenarios and gained insights into the research process on practical matters. These activities contributed to the development of various competencies outlined in the student profile at the end of compulsory schooling.
